Group Class Descriptions

Foundation Group Class

Our Foundation Group Class focuses on the essentials every dog needs for daily life. This class is perfect for dogs of all ages that need better structure, engagement, leash manners, impulse control, and obedience foundations. Great for beginners or dogs needing consistency and accountability.

Calm Companion Group

Designed for dogs that struggle with overexcitement, anxiety, impulsive behavior, or settling down. This class focuses on calm behavior, neutrality, patience, and teaching dogs how to exist peacefully in different environments without constantly reacting to everything around them.

Structured Socialization Group

This is not a dog park style playgroup. Structured Socialization teaches dogs how to properly coexist around other dogs, people, and distractions while remaining calm and responsive to their handler. Perfect for dogs needing confidence, better manners, or more controlled exposure to the world.

Leash Walking & Public Skills

This class focuses on loose leash walking, handler engagement, public neutrality, and navigating real-world environments calmly and respectfully. Great for dogs that pull, become distracted easily, or struggle in busy places.

Canine Good Citizen Prep

A preparation class for dogs working toward the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. We focus on obedience, calm public behavior, polite greetings, leash manners, and reliability around distractions.

Advanced Obedience Group

For dogs with a solid foundation that are ready for the next level. This class focuses on higher-level obedience, longer duration commands, increased distractions, off-leash concepts, handler communication, and reliability in real-world situations.

Basic Obedience

A beginner-friendly class focused on building communication and structure between dogs and owners. We work on commands such as sit, down, stay, recall, leash walking, and impulse control while creating better overall behavior at home and in public.

Community Group Walk

A structured group walk focused on leash manners, neutrality, calm social exposure, and real-world training. Dogs practice existing around other dogs and people without excessive excitement or reactivity while owners gain confidence handling their dog in public settings.

Open Group Training

A flexible training group designed for ongoing practice, accountability, and troubleshooting. This class allows handlers to continue strengthening obedience, work through challenges, and practice around distractions in a supportive group setting.
